This trip was a Christmas gift to our children and grandchildren. It was the perfect place for our family to enjoy the outdoors, play, visit, bond, relax and share meals together. We made memories that will stay with us for many years to come. Meggen met us at the property promptly at check in time. She gave our family a tour of this beautiful property and answered any questions we had. (Meggen was also very prompt in answering my emails leading up to our trip). Outside, the Barn is surrounded with beauty everywhere you look, including outdoor spaces to entertain and gather, a creek to explore and a small lake to enjoy. We loved that deer frequent the property. Inside there are two comfy gathering rooms downstairs and a game room upstairs.
The themed bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and suited the needs of our family perfectly. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with everything you could need including multiple dishwashers, sinks, refrigerators (in several locations) and large gas ranges. The dining room is large with plenty of seating for large groups. Washers/dryers on two floors made keeping up with dirty laundry a breeze. The cinema room is large and a fun place to watch a movie together. Meggen has thought of every detail that a guest might need and provided it. I asked our children and grandchildren if they would like come back and stay at this property again. Their answer was a resounding YES! We had the most wonderful time. Thank you Meggen!
