We stayed at the Elk Barn Inn the end of July for our family reunion of 18 people. 1st thing I can say is the listing pictures do not do this property justice. Megan was the perfect host. She made sure that we had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted and was always prompt if we had any questions. The kitchen facilties were second to none. We did have 1 item that we needed that was not there and Meggan was quick to bring 1 for us to use. We had enough space between the multiple refrigerators to put our food and an industrial size drink cooler. The dinning area had more the enough room for 20 people to eat comfortably. The bedrooms were large and each decorated with a theme. They were perfect for sleeping or just to get away and relax. There were multiple tvs throughout the house but we didn’t use them hardly at all since there was so much space outside for everyone to gather and play. We did use the theatre a few times and it was great having a place to watch family movies where everyone could be comfortable. They have deer that comes through the property and we did hear a moose but he didn’t come out for us to see. You couldn’t find a better place to stay for your vacation and Meggan is truly the perfect host. You will not be disappointed instead will be in awe of the gem you found.
